About Education Scotland
Education Scotland is an executive agency of the Scottish Government. We are responsible for the design and improvement of the curriculum in Scotland.
We also have an important role in supporting professional learning. The national model of professional learning informs our approach.
His Majesty's Inspectorate of Education (HMIE) has now separated from Education Scotland.
Education Scotland Associate (ESA)
This role will allow the associates to gain a national perspective of education, developing their system leadership as well as benefitting from additional high-quality professional learning.
